Gisele Schemankewitz

Psychology Associate

Gisele Schemankewitz (she/her), Psychology Associate, earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She is currently working toward the conferral of her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Loyola University Maryland.

Gisele has experience working with adults in both individual and group settings and has a special interest in working with trauma and mood and anxiety disorders. Gisele’s person-centered and culturally sensitive approach to psychotherapy involves empathically listening to and understanding her clients and their stories in order to equip them with the tangible skills necessary for their own unique healing journeys. Gisele’s practice incorporates a warm and collaborative approach that cultivates acceptance and compassion toward self and others, while also seeking to empower and challenge oneself to lead the life that we deserve and desire. She believes that the power for change and growth is within each of us, and she sees it as an honor to be able to guide and witness this.

In her free time, Gisele enjoys listening to music, spending time in the sun with friends, playing her guitar, exploring vintage markets, and traveling.
