Ryan Williams graduated from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) with his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and went on to receive his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
During his clinical internship at Villa Maria, Ryan provided individual and family counseling to adolescents and adults and directed groups to develop social skills for students in Baltimore City Public Schools.
He has experience in substance abuse treatment at Kolmac Behavioral Health and has worked in both their Baltimore City and Towson locations. After Kolmac Behavioral Health, he transitioned to private practice where he provides counseling to individuals and couples.
Ryan is part of the Baltimore DBT Team at TBG and works with adults and adolescents. He strives to create an environment in which clients feel listened to and understood. In addition to DBT, he has experience providing CBT and motivational interviewing. When working with couples, he employs the Gottman Method as well as the Developmental Model.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, watching baseball and football, playing video games and exercising.
