Sara is an occupational therapist with a specialized focus on complex trauma and dissociative disorders. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Science in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.  Sara works on the Trauma Disorders Unit at Sheppard Pratt, where she has dedicated the last nine years of her career, as well as at MindWork Group, an exceptional program offering intensive outpatient services.  Her passion lies in helping individuals improve their function and the quality of their lives by using evidence-based strategies and approaches to support change.  Sara is deeply committed to fostering empowerment and agency in her clients and supporting them in taking an active role in their healing process.
