Learning Skills for Fall Success

For college students and rising high school seniors to prepare them for challenges they will face in the Fall.

DBT Skills are proven techniques to manage emotions, stress, and relationships and increase mindfulness. Students will take these skills with them for the rest of their lives.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9-noon

Choose Session 1: June 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th or

Session 2: July 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 19th

Led by expert DBT Skills Trainers Wyneshia Hicks, LCSW-C, and Casey Perisin, PsyD, participants will leave each day having learned new DBT skills to help them enter into Fall with tools they can use to thrive and succeed.

Participants will learn skills to:

  • Handle Stress Effectively

  • Increase Mindfulness

  • Improve Relationships

  • Increase Self Respect

  • Set Boundaries

  • Decrease Negative Self Judgments
